Pilgrimage to Rome - 24th to 31st October 2008

Included in the programme:

• The General Audience with His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in the Vatican.

• St Peter’s Basilica, to visit the tombs of St Peter and Pope John Paul II, optional visit to the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums.

• St Paul-outside-the-Walls to visit the tomb of St Paul to celebrate the Pauline Year.

• Tomb of St Genesius in the Church of Santa Susanna.

• Basilicas of St John Lateran and St Mary Major.

• Tour of the Catacombs.

• Optional trip to Nettuno to visit the shrine of St Maria Goretti, the house where she was martyred and the Chapel of the Pardon where she died.
